Unlike a reaction, which begins and ends on your page, a re-up places the upload somewhere else entirely. That carries a small amount of onward exposure which never turns into a number you can screenshot, so the counter under your track is only half the picture.
It may nudge your play count sideways
Sometimes plays edge up in the same period because somebody opened the track through another profile. That is a knock on effect and not part of the delivery, and treating it as a promise leads to the wrong expectations about a larger order.
