A seller runs the sample against a gig that is already getting traffic from the platform, then tries to work out afterwards what came from where. Nothing separates cleanly at that point. A quieter gig, one that has been sitting still for a week, gives a reading you can actually attribute to the order.
That the order reaches the correct gig page and that the figure updates publicly. It does not tell you whether the gig converts, whether the description does its job, or how the same figure would read alongside a mature seller profile. Those are questions for a longer run and a gig worth backing.
